MRscreenplays has changed the name from MRproductions in order to separate the writing side of our work together from the film production side, also due to other companies with a similar name. MRscreenplays is the place to find the output of the collaboration between writers Roy Bright and Mike Harris

Roy Bright had a career in the Royal Navy. Later he formed, and fronted, a rock band, Exit State. Finding pleasure in creative writing he penned his first novel 'Judas' in 2013. This was met with critical acclaim, and now the second book in the series is almost complete, with the third book planned.

Mike Harris has been through a very wide range of careers - from research chemist to screenwriter with a whole load in between, including mobile projectionist, direct sales, driving instructor, publican, band manager, recording engineer, creative writing circle chairman, and more - all adding up to a wealth of experience.

The collaboration started after Mike offered to write the screenplay to 'Judas'. That done, and the pitching begun, Roy suggested more ideas to develop as original screenplays - so came 'Toying', followed quickly by 'The Last Status' - and the rest will be history!
