Hi, saw some stories on the internet about the scam. I have been contacted myself about a modelling job in London for Belenciaga. I got as far as receiving a contract via my email which says they want a £230 costume fee but I’ll get it back on the day of shoot. Of course I haven’t paid that because I believe it may be a scam. They asked how I would get to London and I said train but they did say they can arrange a car pickup from the comfort of my own home. I live in Morecambe, Lancashire. Be very generous to pick me up from my own home as well as pay hotel fees etc. It all sounds too good to be true and the £4000 they were offering for the job sounds great! I’m just starting out in the industry and it’s such a shame about scammers as this would have been a perfect first job for me. Sounds so exciting but now I’m going to be skeptical if genuine people contacted me. I may miss out on opportunities that could be real. It’s unfair.

Thanks for your reply. They messaged back saying ‘should we replace you?’ Because I’m not responding to them. They sound pushy wanted me to be quick with my responses etc.
